In the field of information technology, the design of electronic material is mainly the field of electronic engineering, but the important role of chemical & biochemical engineers is required in the circuit manufacturing process. In the manufacturing process of semiconductors, display, and sensors, the chemical engineering concepts of rheology, thermodynamics and chemical reaction engineering are utilized, and the design of chemical processes has to be achieved to acquire materials with desired heology. The development of semiconductors, electronic paper, display, optical cables, and development of Optoelectronic materials which is important in the information age is currently studied.
