As its study fields, the most basic bioscience that reveals the mechanisms of life, artificial tissues as like artificial organs and skins, development of biomaterials as like alternative blood, bioinformatics, genetic manipulation technology to develop functional microorganisms and the enzyme technology for the large scale production of desired materials.
